The effects of Moringa leaf extract (ME), simvastatin (SIM) and their combination (ME+SIM) on glutathione (GSH) concentration, superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione reductase, and glutathione peroxidase activities and total antioxidant capacity in livers of rats fed a high-fat diet (HFD) for 6 weeks. ME protected liver tissue as indicated by the maintenance of comparable activities to the control. Different letters indicate significant differences between groups (p < 0.05). Values are means ±SD (n = 6)
